Born and raised in Merrill, WI. Been married for 34 years to a hometown girl who was one of my sister's friends. I have 2 grown sons, both currently single. I spent six years in the USAF as a jet engine mechanic. After the service I worked in a garage door factory, that closed. Then worked in a paper mill for 5 years, that closed. This allowed me to take the chance at getting an associates degree in computer programming, which got me the job I have today (been at it for nearly 15 years). It's been a pretty decent ride, just have to remember to hold tight on once in a while.

- Computers started as a hobby, now it is my job and still a hobby. In the past 10 years I took up the insane hobby of golf, frustrating but pleasurable. (kind of like life) And of course I love to cook, not to good with deserts. I have been making and smoking sausage for about 10 years. I have just taken up hot smoking, so far it has been great. I jumped in with both feet right away. I got MES smoker on a Saturday from Sam's and did 2 butts the next day with about a dozen friends coming to over to eat. Everybody loved the results, now I get asked "what are you smoking this week" and "are there any leftovers?"
