    250 gallon RF build

I like the single door.  It looks like you could put a small pig in there on a spit.  Or maybe just a couple of piglets.  Or maybe just a puppy.  OH NO I can't believe I said that.

First RF smoker- 115 gal propane tank

It's looking great.  Since the smoker will be level on its trailer or cart, do you slope the RF pan toward the drain, for easier cleaning?

    hello all

Welcome, I'm new to this site also.  Here's an idea for your T-giving.  Smoke a turkey, invite PappaJ to come eat it!

I'm new also, but welcome.  Santa Maria-style?  Never heard of it.  Gunna look it up.

Just in time for some Venison

Cold smoke on an electric?  I'd like to hear about that, didn't know you could make it work.  Let me know how it turns out.  And welcome.

    Everyone has to start somewhere

It's fun.  I like a beer and a book, sitting beside the smoker all day.

    New Memeber in Missouri

Welcome.  Glad you're here.  Open pit?  I haven't done that yet.  Do you build a cmu wall around it or something? I've cooked pigs in a makeshift outdoor oven, with the spit turning about 2' off the ground.

Welcome.  Austin -- my family is there.  We love Rudy's.  It's a great town for bbq, no doubt.

    Glad to Be Here

Hello everybody.  My first post!  This is a great community and I'm glad to be here. I live in Virginia, but am originally from Texas, so I gotta love brisket and mesquite.  The first time I saw chopped pork, I didn't even know it was supposed to be BBQ.  Now I love it, especially eastern NC...
