Yes, but do I dump them into the "chip holder" or leave them in the "holder". My daughter was just her and said , " it sounds like you leave them in the loder" ??- liteside

I just bought a mes 30 from Amazon and haven't fired it up yet. The "seson instructions have me confused. Here they are " Preseason smoker prior to first use.
