    Looking good..what internal temp were you at? What's your intentions.. are you going to keep it open or foil it or what else do you have in store for that fatty?

    New to forum

    Welcome. You will figure it all out with time. I started with the charcoal as a rookie and it was very stressful. I went to propane and that helped me keep my interest to continue smoking.

    The smoker type...only the most important thing that I forgot about!  I currently am using the 34" smoke hollow propane model.  My first was a charcoal but I was having a tough time with the temp.  Not very good at managing the temp peaks and valleys.

    What a great forum to learn so much from.  I have been a guest using the site for a few months and decided to join.  I am 35 with the second kid on the way and work on aircraft for a living.  Live in the Twin Cities of Minnesota (yes it gets flipping cold here). Just finished my first big smoke...
