Smaller cuts of Beef
Looking for advise on smoking smaller cuts of brisket, no point in doing whole brisket whilst experimenting so trying out GMG with cuts of about 3 lbs in weight. Not sure if 1-1/2 hrs per pound really works, tried it and not had great success.- herge

Grilling in a Cold Climate
No problem maintaining temperature with the GMG, interested to see what difference the jacket makes in pellet use. Not a lot of people say this but I miss the Texas heat !! -

I have a sheltered spot with a porch roof and sheltered on two sides, have invested in an insulated jacket for the GMG Daniel Boone and have done some testing without jacket on pellet use. Away with work at present but on return will do comparison test to see the difference. Will report back for... -

Forgot to mention, also have a Turkey Fryer and used to have a Bradley Smoker but couldn't seem to get reasonable temperature with it. Neighbour has it now, will introduce him to SMF!! -

Hi y'all, Originally from England, lived in Texas for 2 years, now in Scotland UK. Just bought a GMG Daniel Boone, still getting to know what it can do, also have a Weber Genesis and thinking of a charcoal grill for xmas although havn't told the wife yet -Everybody needs a hobby!
