    Starting a new smoker its 190 gallon tank I have all my dimetions and this is my 4th build( u can see my first build in the backyard it is a 60 gal rf). I can not remember how the half moon opening works for the life of me. My opening calls for 19" half moon is that 19" accross the tank ? Sorry...

    10" up from bottom straight line across that mark.... so measure up 10" from the.bottom in the center of your pipe ur using as the cook chamber and draw a straight line across to the sides Thata the half moon as for the ends of your rf plate it should be roughly the same as your half moon...

    Fire box is better being bigger.. 12x20 is 100% but I would put it up to 125% which would be 15x20.. As for the half moon to fire box it should b 9.80 inches so call it 10 inches so draw a line 10 inches long and half circle below that for your half moon. I have 5" between my rack and ref plate...

    Time to start a new build... my 60 gal reverse flow i built is an amazing smoker but.. itsnot big enough for big family gatherings. So I picked up a 1950s? Era fridge had to remove all the insulation due to it being soaked in water so right now all I have is a shell but its solid and pretty big...

    Looking good only thing i have to suggest is on your cooking grate if you are planning on pulling it out. put a piece of angle on top of the one the grate sits on so it wont tip and dump your food on the ground (just makes a channel for your grate to slide thru) Π rotate that 90° hope u get...

    and me guarding my Q ... already wanting to do another one but this one will be 250 gal with alot of extras thank you to everyone who put in their 2 cents in never took on anything like this before but im happy with the end product all the food was juicy and amazing this is a great site keep up...
