    Best wood for heat only

    Any of the hard woods will do the trick. Oak, Maple, Hickory, and Mesquite. Fruit woods will burn quicker and not get quite as hot from my experience.

    Agree with oven on warm...just make sure if foiled it has some liquid in there to stay moist.

    Have a Stump's so outside temp isn't really an issue. When it was I went and got some welding blankets....did the trick!

    I don't brine anymore really. Putting a nice coating of kosher salt and lightly covering overnight has done the trick! Stays very juicy and doesn't taste "waterlogged".
