Sorry, didnt get any pics. I finished late last night and the "Butt" in question was hideous. It was majority all fat. I pulled very little meat off of it. I know that butts have a lot of fat in them, but this was nauseating! Will never get another butt before I make sure there is a bone in it

Smoked several butts before but have a hard time retaining the juices when they drip. I was going to set them in a disposable roasting pan in the smoker. Will this reduce the amount of smoke that they take in?
Sorry guys. I pulled the last one at 0230 in the morning and had to be up at five to go to work. I was a little sleepy. . . and greasy. . . so I didnt think to grab a camera. Lesson learned, though. Next time, there will be pictures. Thanks

Hey guys, real quick, I am trying to get a grocery list for a party Sunday. I am going for an inagural run on Dutch's wicked baked beans. I need to know how many that recipe will serve with a medium sized serving. Also, is it worth it to smoke it, or should I just throw them in the oven? Thanks!
Thanks for the input. See if you can explain this too me. I am now six hours into the smoke. My smoke now is almost non-existent. It does not matter how much I throw in there now, it still makes almost no smoke. Nothing has changed. What is going on?
