Super bang for the buck!

Pros: Good knife for the $$

Cons: Blade is a tad thin.

Don't have these yet, but have used them in resteruants that I worked at in the past. For knives you can pick up for usually less than $30 per blade they are a great addition to your kitchen. The knives I have now are starting to show their age and I am guessing I will be replacing some of them in the next 3 or 4 years, and I am leaning towards the Victorinox set.   Forgot to mention there is a great write up and comparison done by America's Test Kitchen on under $50 chef knives. The Victorinox was something like second and it inluded comparisons to Henkle, and several other namebrand knives.

Good stuff

Pros: Nice mix of flavors

Cons: Tad thick

I but the 2/ 24oz bottles at Costco. For an out of the bottle sauce it is actually very good, it has a nice bit of spice without being over sweet. It is a tad thick, but still good. I make a sauce using 1 part Sweet Baby Rays, 1/2 part apple juice, 1/2 part cider vinegar, brown sugar to taste..... and if you want a little bit of kick add 1-2 teaspoons of red chili flakes. Bring it to a boil then reduce heat to low and let it reduce for 15-20 minutes. Goes great on pork, chicken, and beef. › JIRodriguez › Reviews by JIRodriguez
