  • just cleaned up Gretchen. Used w-d-40 and washed it off. then I'll put the food grade silicon on her. She looks mighty good. You all have very good ideas about what to do. Don't know about the rest of the country, but my generation seems new to this stuff, and very hungry for the info. After all beyond politics and religious views, we all eat.     I'm new and with questions. A friend just gave me a universal #73 meat grinder. It opens! Have checked out others and get the jist (sp?) of how it works, but aside from the butter cutter, all of the other cutters are unmarked. Which wheel does what? and how does one clean the beast. What is the best lubricant? What do your Grand-parents say about these things? Oh- though I appreciate electricity to no end, in the kitchen I like a work out sometimes.- loosemeat
