Not a real long time smoker here, but really enjoy the whole process. Question is, every time I cook the meat wants to stick to the racks. Got some awesome looking BB's for tomorrow and I'd rather they not stick. Suggestions?

HELLO busted and WELCOME.  I am gonna assume that your BB have some sort of sugar based rub and or sauce.  That'll really do it.  SIMPLE solution.  Wash the racks REALLY well.  Allow to completely dry.  While the smoker gets up to temp, spray the racks with that well known spray oil or wipe them down with veg oil.  Put you meat on the racks.  When the smoker gets up to temp., slide the racks in..  Should help with the problem.  If you are using only salt and pepper you can leave the racks in the smoker.  Rub the meat with oil and then season.  Then just slap it on.  Hope this helps.  Good Luck.  Keep Smokin!

I have the Q-matz and they are wonderful!  They last a long time, and you can throw them in the dishwasher.  I ordered a little extra, but haven't had to use it yet.

Oiling the grates is good too!

Happy Independence day!!!
