Some Things Are Better Shared...

  1. Happy New Week You Great Wineaux Cuties & Smoking Pros!

    It's snowing here, and a perfect day for reflection and the appreciation for the things that are clearly best when shared!

    In that lineup therefore, I do put food, wine, and the smoking experience,  as some of the very top three!

    Yes half the fun of smoking, is really telling someone about it, right? Or maybe that's another category and theme, and I'm just getting the two words mixed up!?? Smiles.

    Anyway, whether heartier fare (to me) such as my grilled bison marrow alongside a wheat-free baguette and great bottle of Barolo, and/or little "duck bacon" stuffed mushroom caps, a goat cheese platter, an enormous lobster and buffalo mozzarella Caprese salad, or whatever it be; or instead a lean but lovely kangaroo loin over lettuce, some ostrich burger stuffed peppers, luscious elk meat served atop spinach and alongside mounds of quite fresh and very flavorful tabouli, an open-faced Swedish style sandwich with herring and eggs; or whatever is here; I find that WINE, and too, SMOKING, do help bring people together!

    With such sentiments on the brain today therefore, I raise my glass and warm thoughts out to all, and on this wonderful gift of a new day!

    Please make today delicious and make it beautiful!

    I wish that too! As I am always seeing threads on this site and thinking precisely, "We all should be at one big smoke-grill-eat house, and sampling some of everyone's fantastic stuff!"

    Your lobster spread brings to mind a crawfish boil we had a t work, although our presentation is perhaps a notch or 2 below yours[​IMG]


    My contribution was some stuffed jalapenos.



    Filling was Parmesan and Cheddar, smoke wood was cherry.
