Smoking sausage to freeze

    Hi, I am new to this sight, I need to ask a question, I hope this is where I should do this! I am smoking Kielbassa sausage to freeze. Last time I did this my sausage was great when it was finished smoking, but when frozen and reheated it was overcooked and dry. Does anybody have suggestions on how to put up smoked sausage?

    Wrap it in saran wrap and vacuum seal or double wrap in freezer paper,thats my methods for eating sausage months later.

    yeah....gotta have that vac seal....

    agreed, vac seal is the best way to freeze. I vac seal then put them into a zip lock bag as well. Works well for me
