Decided to put some chicken breast on the smoker instead of the grill today. It was sort of last minute, so i did nothing special to the breast before hand. Chicken Breast Salt Pepper Bbq sauce Smoked at 255 with Hickory till chicken was 165. The chicken did pick up some nice smoke and the bbq sauce glazed nicely. The only issue was that the chicken did taste a tad rubbery...not dry, just rubbery. It was still very good. Might have been the chicken? It was Walmart brand and was "enhanced" so that may have been the cause. Served with sides of smoked green beans and smoked baked beans.
