Pork loin Rub

  1. I am going to try a pork loin this weekend and would like a rub that is not to hot like I always make.

    Here is the rub that I used in my "Sausage Stuffed Pork Loin" in the Pork Forum. There is not heat to it at all.

    1/2 cup Brown Sugar
    1/4 cup kosher salt
    1 Tablespoon paprika
    1 teaspoon cumin
    1 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper

    I useally do them with a sweeter rub, spray with pineapple juice, and smeer with honey at the end. you could even inject with a juice.
