I am in the middle of Minnesota and very new to smoking. I'm not a fan of smoked food but I love cooking so I figured I would give it a try. I have smoked a 6lb whole chicken and had great results but the rub I used was way to spicy! I also smoked salmon with a cabela's brine. I don't eat fish but was told it was delicious and got asked to do it again. I own a gas Smoke Hollow smoker and have only used apple wood so far. I'm excited to learn all sorts of things from everyone on here!
