Hi all,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. Bought myself a Father's Day present this year - wsm 18.5" - and have found myself a new hobby. I've had a kettle for over 20 years and finally decided to expand my horizons.

I'm 42 and live in MA. Looking forward to smoking some meat, watching the pats and learning from the experts in this forum.

Welcome! You'll love that WSM. I have 4 mini-wsm'a and picked up an18.5 earlier this year off Craigslist. One of the easiest smokers to use. Don't be shy and post up your smokes!

Thanks Sailor! So far I love the 18.5. I need to train myself to let it do its thing and stop fiddling with everything. I'm a little ocd with numbers and knobs...

Welcome from SC, this is a great site with lots of folks who are always ready to share their ideas and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading. Enjoy that WSM. They are very user friendly and a great init to start on.

Good luck and keep on smokin', Joe
