Hi everybody,

I have no experience in Smoking, other than watching my buddy. I was going to get a smokin-it #2, then found this food transfer cart from a recently shut down prison. It was $120, but cost me $200 to go and get it (Had to take a ferry to Vancouver Island).

I am going to go electric on it, my buddy has a stove that he is getting rid of.

I will be using the bottom element and original temperature control for now, will get a pid and ssr combo in the future. I am pretty good with electronics and control applications.

I have a meat grinder and sausage stuffer, will be trying pretty much everything.

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

If you didn't read the Terms of Service notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums. Rule #11......"Off Site Links are not allowed here at SMF" is something new. There are other simple guidelines for all of us to remember as we interact here.

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
