Jalapeno Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Brats

When camping last time I doctored up some store bought brats before putting them on the fire.
Would work great with home make brats.

I slit them open, added slivers of jalapeno peppers then wrapped them in bacon.



Caramelized some sliced onions in butter...and put on a marinaded loin...





Added some twangy kraut to the caramelized onions....









Toasted some buns.....





The jalapeno stuffed, bacon wrapped brat topped with caramelized onions and twangy kraut....and a ribbon of brown spicy mustard.

I forgot about the loin, I was more interested in having a brat and cold beer.

Jeanie you are killing me softly with your food. But really yet another fabulous idea you have with that hotdog. The stores that I work for used to carry jalapeno hotdogs and they quit selling them because I liked them. Like everything else you have cooked look and I'm sure tasted so very good. Then to top it off you did it on a camp site fire pit. I thought I was good grilling a pork loin and it came out tastey and it wasn't burned slap up.

Jeanie I love jap dogs!!!! I have a blue ribbon smokin, sausage makin butcher not far from me that makes jap dogs and they are great. But you my dear have given jap dogs a whole new twist!!!! I just gotta try some dogs yer way, they look fantastic!!!!!! Thanks fur the view.
