I named my Husky mix "Kodiak" (Kodi for short) after Kodiak Alaska!

Welcome!!! I can't imagine being in the Coast Guard and being stationed in Kodiak! Do you get a lot of calls out there?? Did you do your boot in Cape May, NJ?

Well anyway, welcome aboard and can't wait to see some of that smoked salmon! BTW, there is a recipe on here by Dutch for a maple glazed smoked salmon...it's really awesome!

How to post Qview to Forum:

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Everyone here enjoys seeing the Qview so be sure to post plenty of pics...

Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.

You truly are in Paradise. One of my favorite areas. There are lots of great fish smokers in the area. One of my highlights was meeting Jimmy Ng in the Kodiak airport. This was right after I spent time on Raspberry Island reading stories about him in a book that was there. Cool beans.
