Getting the smoke rolling!

Hey, just wanted to give a quick introduction. I'm Jimmy, and I am from Arkansas. I've come to love grilling and smoking, and do my dirty work on a weber jumbo joe. It's the perfect tailgating grill. I live in a condo, so I can't grill within ten feet of the building. Back of my truck it is!

Yesterday I tested out my setup for a long cook, and had the grill running between 225-275 for 10 hours, in breezy conditions, with only one small fuel addition. :sausage:

Tomorrow I will be smoking my first pork butt, and am very eager I see how it turns out.

I'll be sure to get pictures up to show y'all how it turns out!

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
