Hello all!  Long time lurker and finally decided to join.  I am a relative newbie when it comes to smoking.  Grilled for many years, always afraid that I would screw something up and have to throw it away.  I have smoked a couple of briskets with moderate success and last year I smoked my first turkey for Thanksgiving.  It turned out so good my wife asked me to do it again this year.  I guess we are about to find out if last year was beginners luck!!

I have a Chargriller Duo with side box and an old Brinkman barrel grill.  I have done a couple of mods to the Duo and need to replace the wood on the Brinkman.

Look forward to spending more time on here and get more tips, tricks and advice.  Thanks for having me.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
