Took this out of freezer Friday to smoke Sunday. Had change of plans and had to cancel smoke. So an 8# brisket today and I get it all to myself.
It will make good cold beef sandwiches but if you want to reheat my go to is sealing it in a vacuum bag then reheating in a pot of water.
I guess I'm not a purist. I finished up our last brisket as sandwiches at work. Nuked a few slices and put them on a bun. Tender as could be and with enough smoke that folks popped in to ask what smelled so good...
Cold, nuked or whatever, good brisket is just plain good!Haha! I didn't mean to imply I'm above nuking meat! I just personally like it cold on sandwiches and that's how it's normally consumed!
