So bought an IPT pellet grill that was delivered yesterday - new company but gave 'em a shot based on a nice review on another forum, Unit came fully assembled including shipping and was already tested with an initial burn in. Seems pretty solid so far. Didn't have time to an extended smoke or anything but after work today quickly got together some country ribs and drumsticks and threw them on there. Cooked/smoked at 180 for about 30-40 minutes and then turned it up to 350 to finish as I was short on time. Can get up to searing temps per review up to 500+ but didn't attempt that either yet. Have some Frogmats on order as well as an EC-732. Gonna be able to have some big BBQs this summer with this, my MB propane smoker, and Weber propane grill!

    Hi Todd -

There was a hint of smokiness but I only cooked for about a half hour at 180 before turning up the heat. Definitely, a different flavor than using the gas grill and/or charcoal - you can tell that it was cooked on wood. Of course I think there are a LOT more cooking experiments in the future!
