Big pack of legs on sale and I like to cook them up so I have them for lunches. Normally I cook them All the same way, but I decided to do half one way and the other half a different way. First batch I made an Asian inspired marinade. 1 1/2 cups soy 3/4 cup Brown sugar 1/2 cup honey 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil 4 tablespoon siracha 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger 4 cloves of garlic minced Ground black pepper Mix that all up. Place chicken in ziplock. Dump in the marinade, reserve a 1/4 cup marinade for glazing. Second batch was oven fried. I saved out two drummies and did those smoker fried. Should've done them all that way, but I wanted some grease! Which I used schmaltz. Nothing like frying chicken in chicken fat! ENJOY!!!! Smoke away!!!
