I have made this quite alot, but last night added a couple of things and it is even better than the origanal recipe that follows.
I added about 1 1/2 Cups of smoked ham chunks
and about 1 Cup chopped onions ( Oh Man this is what made it better )
You could add some smoked chicken breast in place of the ham.
Original Recipe:
2 Cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1 Stick butter sliced up about 1/8 "
12 ounces chedder cheese
4 ounces mozzarella cheese
5 Cups of milk
Salt and pepper or rub to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Layer macaroni, butter and cheeses in the order given in a 9x13 dish ( I sprayed mine )
Pour milk over the top
Add seasoning
Bake for one hour......Do not cover, if it gets to brown cover the last 15 mins.
Try other cheeses if you want but this is real good and real easy.
