Yeah.... I realized I was out of granulated onion, but I had a big bag of onion soup mix (I buy it in bulk), that I use for seasing all sorts of other stuff. Then it dawned on me "Duh! It will work well in a rub!" - takes a few time of smaking me upside the head with the obvious, but eventually it sinks in.
