Hi!  I am new to this forum, but not "too" new to the concept of smoking.  I own the following appliances:
  • Weber 22.5" One-Touch Silver Kettle
  • Kenmore 3-burner propane w/side burner
  • Charbroil 14" Table Top Charcoal Mini-Kettle
  • Generic Table Top Rectangular Charcoal (converted from gas)
I have been able to master smoking for many hours on my Weber One-Touch, and someday I will upgrade to a full-time smoker, such as the Weber Smokey Mountain, a high-quality offset wtih side fire box, or some other dedicated smoker.  Right now, my family is still young (my boys are 3 and 6 yrs old), and don't eat much.  Once they are on their way to becoming teenagers, I'm sure I'll be grilling and smoking a LOT more!

I enjoy smoking all kinds of things like beef, pork, chicken, and fish, but I have yet to do any cold smokes with cheese, etc.  That is something else I aspire to do.

I live in Boise, Idaho, and try to keep up grilling and smoking throughout the entire year now that my wife and I have a permanent cover over our patio.

That's it for now; love the site and look foward to reading a posting a lot!
