GOSM Question

Hello all,

                 I am looking to get GOSM propane smoker. From what I can tell, they are available in two sizes 16 x 34 & 20 x 34.  Does anybody have expeirience smoking sausage in these things?  How much sausage can be smoked at one time in these smokers?

I have the smaller one of the 2 and I smoke sausage and salami in it all the time

I made doll rods to fit in place pf the racks so I can hang the sausage

I have had 25# of sausage in it

Get the largest one.  Eventually you will want the extra room!

I have an older, smaller one, it is heavier than the ones sold today, but I can fit 30# of sausage in it (max), it took tome trial and error on my part to get that much to fit.

mine is too small for my sausage and salami projects anymore

I usually make 60 - 90# at a clip and have to smoke it in several batches

the wider one would be nice and packer briskets fit better in the wider one also.

I have intentions of building a smoke house for my sausage but just havent gotten to it yet.

my real job keeps getting in the way!
