Smoke Blower
Thanks. I used lump charcoal for my heat source, but I only used about five or six pieces of wood chunks for smoke. Once those were burned up, I didn't use anymore smoking wood. However, I believe that using lump charcoal tends to add to the smoke ring on its own. Don't know if that's true, just my thoughts. The brisket only took about six hrs. to reach 200 if I remember correctly and it was getting smoke for maybe half that time. This was just a small flat, maybe 5 or 6 lbs.that looks great, did you hit it with smoke the whole time it was uncovered? I cant believe I didnt get a smoke ring at all on mine after it went through a fully loaded amazensmoker. Also, was it a flat or a whole brisket?
Thanks
