Guys, I'm trying to keep a good temperature but its below 200! Also, the wood is caching fire and creating some bad smoke.

Any help, please...
 
Just guessing I'd look for leaks.  I think you have a Mecco charcoal?  Choke off the incoming air and leave your exhaust wide open.  Remove your wood for now, you may have added to much.

Ok I closed the intake but I couldn't remove some of the wood because I'm using wood chips. I guess I'll see what happens...

Well I just checked on it again and the temperature is up to 265 and there's no fire happening, thanks Willy!
