First off. Newbie here...first post. Usually I don't wrap my ribs, just start looking for the pull back at about 5 hrs or so. But this past Saturday for the College season opening kickoff I tried something different. The Football method. 12 noon- game one. Add the ribs to smoker. 3pm- Game two, wrap ribs. Approx. 4:30 - Half time, unwrap. Just shy of 6pm game over and food served. Sorry no q-view.This Sunday I'm going for the NFL method. I like this method. Passes the time very well.

Welcome aboard!  Sounds like a great method! LOL  Drop into the roll call section for a fitting welcome and tell us what you're smoking with etc.  I'm so glad it's finally college football season and may have to try your technique next Saturday. haha

Welcome to the SMF. Glad to hear your ribs came out your way. I moved your thread to roll call, so that everyone has a chance to welcome you. It's all good my friend.
