Summer Sausage (unstuffed) - Page 2

I knew that, I was talking about preventing it from "skipping rows".  I guess the foil pan would do that although I have absolutely no idea how you placed it in there.  BTW, don't bother with responding to this...I'll wait for it to hit the streets then I'll pummel you with questions after I get one.

I'll answer to tell you Todd already fixed the jumping through walls with these king size ones. That's no longer a problem.

I just did a smoke with the new big one and it did not jump at all -

I haven't had it jump either..  I saw some pics somewhere where someone had it next to the element and (how can I explain this?) there was like a semi-circle burn from where the element was.  So, the dust wasn't just burning through the maze because this semi-circle extended 2-3 rows deep.  Does that make any sense?

So, the foil pan probably does the trick shielding the heat so that doesn't happen.  That's what I was wondering about with it being so close to the element.

Hmm,

I never saw that, but I could see it happening.

It never happened to me, but I always had a pan under it----mainly to keep from dropping sawdust all over the inside of my MES.

Great looking Smoke Bear.  I'm looking do do some sausage in the future.  Looks like that AmazeNSmoker is the way to go.
