Fired up the smoker on a hot (100+) day while the kids were in the pool.

Made 2 meatloaves (ground hamburger + pork). One stuffed with hard boiled eggs, and the other with steamed broccoli and cheese.

Also smoked 3 split chicken breasts. I added some "beer can spice" mix to some butter and stuffed it under the skin. Also liberally covered the breasts with the same spice rub.

For a quick appetizer, I cut up 4 jalapenos and stuffed them cream cheese and wrapped them with bacon.

Last but not least, took some "Grilling beans" and added a touch of Wild Turkey to them for some smoking.

I smoked with hickory logs.

Enjoy the pics:

Of course the kids aren't fond of smoked food - so we have lots of leftovers to gorge ourself on !

on a very good Smoke My Friend!!! Just wondering, Did you add any bread crumbs or anything to the loaf to keep it together?
I had 2-3 lbs of 80/20 and a pound or so of pork. Added one egg, one small 7 oz can of tomato sauce, seasonings, and some bread crumbs (no exact amount). Split that into the two loaves.

I thought so, Those loaves will fall apart without some (glue);-)  Once again....Congrats on a nice Smoke

Thanks. Oh, I usually use picante sauce instead of tomato sauce. It adds more flavor. If you haven't tried it, you should ! :-)
