Hello everyone! I've been browsing this site for some time and finally became a member. Lots of good reads here. Anyway I don't have a smoker yet (aside from my truck) but am thinking of building one out of the left over drums I have a work. I can’t stand the p.o.s. community bbq here at my new apartments! Thanks for the great site!

welcome to SMF!

There are some great drum (UDS) builders on the site . Just ask any of them and i'm sure they will be happy to help in any way they can.

BTW. Make sure that there are no Apartment rules against you having your own smoker / pit.

First off Welcome Jeremiah to SMF. you'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.
