Got her weighed today to get a tag 1620 lbs.  Fired her up last week and she purred perfect drafts like it should.  Held 220-240 for an hour and a half with out stoking.  Getting ready to put the warmer box on the back add the firebox grate, cook shelf and such and then off to the sand blaster.  Also adding a high pressure propane burner on the right side.  I still have to order my thermometers and build a stack cover.  Thinking about a cast iron frying pan that flips up.  Let me know what you think.

Nice build. If ya dont mind, please let us know what the approx price for blasting is. I like the fire door being on the side rather that at the rear like most are. And I think the frying pan would be a fantastic idea.

Wow I just re read the post and yikes, 1650 is alot. Sure doesn't look that heavy from the pics. I probably dont even wanna weigh mine.

I got a quote at $125 an hour.  Im thinking thats about all ill need.  My main concern was getting the old paint off the tank.  It was an older one and im unsure if it could be bad stuff.    Thanks

That doesn't sound to bad so long as thats actual blast time.

I hear ya about the paint, can't be to safe.

The pan is just sitting there to stop the birds and rain.  I hope to come up with something that works good.  I did a loin,4 butts nd chicken two weeks ago and she cooks great holds temps and don't require a lot of attention.

I was always told .. .If there isn't any Qview then it didn't happen.... hehehe...

By the way... nice build.  Really good job.  The RF cookers are amazing huh?
