Dino bones and beer butt chicken

Since the Dino's are in first I thought I would put this in the beef section

was just doing a beer butt chicken but stopped at the store to pick up some taters for baking and

saw these Dino bones and couldnt resist.

I will post a few more Qview later on

I rubbed the bones with Cavender's greek and garlic and onion

here they are naked.

here is the yard bird

seasoned with onion garlic and old Bays rubbed under the skin

I put sprite and captain Morgan's  in the can along with some old bay seasoning

almost 4 hours in for the dino's and 2 hrs in for the yard bird

running the GOSM at 250* with apple wood

I pulled the ribs quick to rotate the rack and take the picture

here is the yard bird 2 hrs in . I will probe with my instant digital thermo

in about half hour. will pull it at 165* in the thigh. for juicy doneness
 
Ok you have now convinced me to try Dino bones again - Have not done them for years as I really like pork ribs - Beer can is my favorite chicken ever  great post man
