Ok after the last attempt to make a stuffed burger I realized I need to work on making it more..bite sized!

I came up with a plan, 1lb ground round in a gal size zippy bag! Someone had said my burgers from the last try looked like mini fatties so I thought using the bag would be a great way to make em thinner.

After rolling the burger out and cutting the bag open I divided the 1lb patty in half giving me 2, 1/2 lb burgers.  I put cheese and bacon on one side then folded the burger over and "crimped" the 3 edges together. Now I had a nice thin stuffed burger that was still way bigger than the bread!!  I made 5 burgers ( the fith I used same method but folded the gal zippy bag in half since I only had a bit more than 1/2 lb of meat to work with.  That one I stuffed with onion cheese and pulled pork!!!

I got qview but no internals, since I made them thinner there wasn't much to look at in the middle anyhow.

Great lookin' burgers, and a great idea for making them!

They look red enough to have a little cure in them.

Thanks for the method---I gotta steal that one!

No cure BC, unless my meat guy at the store is sneakin some in!  Most all the burgers I cook on the UDS come out red from being smoked more than grilled.
