I've been lurking for a few weeks and joined about a week ago.  I built a terra cota flower pot smoker ala Alton Brown several years ago when his BBQ episode aired.  That thing actually worked and I smoked some excellent Boston Butts the last few years.  It broke over the winter and I needed to replace it for this weekend.  I actually purchased two smokers last week:

1.  MES Analog smoker

2.  ProQ charcoal smoker (similar to WSM)

I used the MES and reviewed it today.  I am looking forward to lots more overnight and/or all day smoking events.

Two great rigs ya got there, and welcome to SMF! Along with the rigs, make sure you have a trusted thermometer to monitor the temps @ grate level on the inside of the rig.

Welcome aboard!

I grew up in GA (in Lyons, right next door to Vidalia), and I always like to see members from GA here.  Squirrel is around Augusta, I think, and keep an eye out for her threads because she's always doing something awesome.

Also, I'm using the 30" Digital MES and totally love it.

There's a ton of great info and friendly people on this site, so I know that you're gonna enjoy your stay.
