Thanks for posting.  I might have to give the V3840 a try for only $130 (reg $173) with free shipping! May be off the forum topic, but does any have this one?

You get the same add as i do...

Have to go look as the wife tells me we are out of bags...
I have a trick for you on the bags. We make them about 15-20" long and just cut off the area that sealed - we get dozens of uses out of them - just turn them inside out wash and dry and reuse - have not bought bags for about 2 years and I use them a lot

Thanks Scar.. We have been using the rolls here and washing them. but sometimes when you need a bag and you have to stop and make one it nice to just pull and made one up as we do use them up fast. we like the qt size for small leftovers. O yes we also have the hand held one with the like "zip lock bags" we use for fresh stuff.

like the latest one as before the sealing strip was not wide enough and the rolls would not seal as good as they needed.

Well thanks there Scarbelly I have never thought about washing the old bags out and re-using them. I have always just thrown them away and got another. I do go thou a load of bags too. Now I will have to try and remeber to make the bags much bigger in the beginning.

Mark

The trick is to turn them inside out and wash and dry them well BEFORE you turn them back - I have done this for years and by the end of the bag we have so many sharpie notes crossed out it is comical - we label the bags with a sharpie - we just started labeling on the part we cut off above the seal so the bags don't look so bad LOL
