I was at Costco in Overland Park, KS last Saturday and was scoping out their briskets when another guy comes up and made a comment about them, and that touched off about a 20 minute conversation of trading smoking tips and chewing the fat. As we finished up he said, "Do you ever go the the smoking meat forums?" and I had never heard of them, but here I am and it feels like home .
Some of the acronyms I see are new to me so if there is a post that briefly defines some of the more commonly used ones that would be helpful but I'm figuring some of em' out as I go.
I am fairly new to the smoking game. Last year I purchased my first smoker =30 inch MES (<-- HA see?) and since then I've been gung-ho.
