turned out pretty well.  might have been the best tasting thing ive smoked in my short (3 month) smoking career.

cheese steak fattie: sliced steak, provolone, cooked onions and peppers wrapped up in the standard fattie fashion

2 hrs in, smoking on top of a brined whole fryer chicken:

done, 4 hrs @ ~ 250 using apple wood only:

will for sure be doing fatties again:

Hope y'all haven't run out of coffee yet!  I'm on my way over too, but apparently I'm running late!  that fattie looks great!  Nice job on the first -- and, no, it won't be your last

Dang that looks good!  I'm anxious to try my hand at one.  I'm greener than you tho so haven't gotten there yet.  I've just been smokin' less than a month!  ...but sooooo hooked already!  :-D

Damn, looks like I'll be doing some fatties, excellent first fattie my friend, thanks for the q-view.

yes you have done one fine job on the fattie Mr. Pimp Dude. I also like the ingerdients. Now I think the fattie is kinda of a welcoming present here for most folks haven't hear of them till they join here.
