So I've only done ribs and such. Had a blast. I'm going to try to smoke a small butt this weekend (thinking about 5 lbs or so).
I read the pork sticky so I'm pretty confident all will go well.
Any thoughts on a simple rub? I don't have anything at home but was thinking a little salt, pepper, and mustard (sounds like mustard is good for bark, etc.). anyone do a simple brown sugar rub?
Probably will spritz it with apple juice as well.
