I found this forum 3 days ago, and cant seem to stay off it,  was stuck on here from 10pm-2am the first time i came across it..  I have a 30" MES, and a Weber SM charcoal..  im really only using the MES currently cuz I dont have the time during the day to tend to the WSM.. 

Anyway,  thought i better set up an account and say HI since i've been lurking thru threads like mad trying to improve my game  :)

I have some apple chips in my pocket and more in my truck's glove compartment or should I say chipcomparment. Welcome Mike to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are alot of really good folks that would just love to help you with anything to do with smoking. Now we like having new folks here to give a new prospective on some of the ways we do things around here. Now if you are really new then I would suggest that you sign up fir the 5-day E-course it free and it will give you the basics on smoking and a few recipes too. Here's a link to it:

then you will have a method to your newly found madness and believe me it will be a madness. Then when you start smoking things you will have to learn how to post the pictures / Qview

Now the next thing you have to do is run out and get something to smoke. Then just smoke it and if you have any questions just post  them here and we will answer all your questions that you might have. I know what you mean about not being able to get off this site. You will love it here and you are going to learn a ton. Make sure your camera is around because we are going to want to see lots of pictures of your smokes. Welcome and glad you joined us.
