Beef Rump Roast (now with qview!)

I picked up a 2lb rump roast  lastnight for the next trial run of the UDS.  I'm thinking smoke it at 225 ( hopefully it holds that low this time ) until med rare to med.  But I have been toying with the pulled beef thing too. Whadda ya'll think?

I have one also, but have no idea how I will do it yet. Probably to 135 or 140º then slice. Will be watching the replies though.

Id prob slice a rump but I bet pulled would be good too.

I just pulled mine at 145 its resting now I'll get pics soon!! if I don't eat it first, man that smells so good.

 

The uds did ok, still had to babysit it a bunch...oh well try try and try again!

I like them at 140* and let cool and slice for sammies.

Flash it was tasty but not the cut for this type of cooking. Gave the teeth a good work out.

Would you say yours came out to just past medium?  I'm doing a similar size tomorrow and am going for medium....maybe pull it at 140?  How long did yours take?
