Found this forum a couple days ago and registered. First off, let me say that I'm lookng forward to learning from other folks with more Q experience than me. I'm relatively new to the smoking phenomenon. I received a red Brinkman electric smoker as a Father's Day present 3 years ago. I used it a few times and it's been collecting dust since then. That is until about 3 weels ago when I cleaned the spider webs off of it and smoked some burgers and chicken breast, which turned out great. Last week I smoked a brisket and this weekend I plan on doing a butt and some ribs maybe.

Like I said, I joined a couple days ago, however when I tried to post an intro, I was unable to. I've a member of several Jeep forums and have had no problems posting to them from my phone. It was only on posts, I tried to edit my signature and was unable to. When I click "submit" or anything like that, all that happens if anything is that a get a "waiting" message that never changes. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm now on my wife's computer at work entering this post.

I looked at your account last night after you emailed me and was unable to find anything wrong. You appear to have all permissions to post as a regular member. I am waiting on some feedback from the software folks..

You say you are able to post just fine on your wife's work computer..

I would be interested to find out what windows system, browser, etc. you are using at home as well as what your wife uses at work to see if we can ascertain what could be causing this problem.

At any rate, glad you finally got on.. sort of. We'll get this worked out just give it a little time. New platform and we are still having to exterminate a bug here and there.

Good to have you  on the forum!!
