well sum one hit a buton buck in front of my dads place

and he was able to get the kill

so he gave me 2 small roast out of it

my questions are

what temp is the best to cook to

and maybe an idea on weight to time ratio

plan on wrappin in bacon

smokin w/ oak and apple

any help would be greatly appreciated

Personally I would suggest smoking at 225 to an internal of 136-140

You may even want to consider a marinade in either Allegro or MoJo before the bacon wrap

I don't have my notes for times but I think it was 30-40 minutes per lb average

thx piney my guess was pretty close gonna try to smoke it wed weather pending
