i'm going to smoke my pulled pork wed and i see people who built charcol baskets....how deep should i start my charcol in my SFB that is bout 15" x 15" square....i'm using kingsford mesqu charcol and maybe some applewood chunks for more flavor....we had chicken breast yesterday over them and i liked the flavor they gave it....i don't have my charcol basket made yet but i can stack the charcol fairly deep in my SFB, but i do have four 15" x 7" x 1/8" steel heat plates made and ready to go that i heated in the smoker yesterday to season them from rusting with cooking spray....i have the rub on the pork and wraped in the fridge till tommorrow mourning when i start my fire bout 7:30am....any last minute suggestings for my 1st time smoke job........bob
