I told the buyer of our house I would make her family some BBQ since she has been so patient with me in closing the sale (can you see a bribe?). Carol is going out tomorrow to find a house for us. We were supposed to close this week but because we didn't have anywhere to go we had to push it forward for another 2 weeks at least.

I will smoke it for 6 hours and put it in the drip pan with foil till tomorrow AM.

I too can only wonder why but you like it that way Ron. Are you gonna pull it???

Yes it is working great.
Yes searing it gives it a nice crust. I am going to pull it in the AM.

All done and pulled.

Right before foiling last night.

This AM before pulling.
Thanks for watching.

Looks great Ron !!!

I like searing a brisket, don't know why I never thought about searing a butt. If it weren't being pulled, a reverse sear might work. should work fine for sliced pork or brisket though.....

Very Nice My Friend!

I never got anything that nice when I bought my house.....

Great Job Ron----Glad to see you're back in full swing!!!!
