Just hoping I could get some more experienced opinions on this smoker I seen on Craigslist?

I'd offer him $50 so if you didn't like it you can get your money back in scrap metal. Look like there is fire box on the bottom from what I can see. Could be gem or could be a bust. If close enough go and look at it. Little sand blasting and a paint job and you have nice smoking conversation piece.

I emailed another guy about one he's had on there for awhile, and just out of doubtful curiousity asked if he might take payments. I didn't expect a reply at all, and if so just a polite NO, but I got a reply asking me to call and ask, so maybe.

Either looks like they will work, provided they aren't rusted out. I don't like the looks of all the rust in the first one. Hopefully, they washed it out with a pressure washer and didn't season it afterwards. If not, I'd want to figure out why it is so rusty in the smoking chamber.

How much room do you have? How many dollars are disposable right now? (etc.) Those are questions we can't answer for you. Best of luck.
